I was wanting to try making cheese and was intimidated so I found this book and I think I cando it! This is a well written book with a lot of useful information about different kinds of cheeseand other things. I think anyone can use this book. It is not at all difficult to read and use theinstructions. I made cheese this week and the family is pleased. That is all I want!

A bit more complicated than I expected from a beginner's book. Was looking for simple, easy recipes for small batches of cheese. Most of the instructions were for someone looking to make a lot of cheese in a lot of varieties. If I was looking for making large quantities for possible retail sales, this would be a great book to get started with. For someone looking to experiment with making small quantities for personal use, this may be more than you need or want.

This book did not disappoint me! Loaded with information and includes recipes that feature the cheeses in the book, it is a simple to understand guide to cheesemaking. Highly recommend.

This book provided basic information on home cheesemaking. It also went in-depth on how to do it well. I appreciate all the little tips and tricks in here (keep make sheets, which cleansers for which surfaces, making at home cheese presses). This is the perfect book for someone with no experience who still wants to make a good go of it.

I have purchased several books on cheese making and this book is one of the better ones. Wonderful pairing suggestions and the recipes are easy to follow!

This book is very good for beginners. There are directions for a wide variety of cheeses, so you can start with something simple and get more adventurous over time if you wish. The author also give suggestions for work arounds and ways to do things without buying a lot of special equipment so you can try a few times without a big commitment. She also give a few mail order sources for items you might need to get started. I also like that she gives some trouble shooting tips with the first cheese that you can apply later on. I've made couple of the fresh cheese and been happy with the results.

Amazing book!! This book not only explains everything step by step in plain English but it also makes it seem like anyone can do it so you get really excited while reading it and want to make your own cheese. Going to see if I can get a hard copy to keep with my cookbook as I currently have the e-book version. Highly recommend this book!!
