I loved the sample from my kindle and I like that it gives you a fun start on expecting sleepovers and growing up.No cheesy illustrations and nothing cheesy inside this book at all.What most parents complain ir comment positive rather about.I also as a former sleepover attendee,am saying how good they did,by not making it cheesy too.Many costumers who read these book category types say that in reviews.I lije everything theres also said here,like yourself going to many gatherings as a tween,like all of us did.Advice along the way and thoughts on every page,wirth the read by the minute.
This is very great book!! I mostly recommend it to 10 year olds. ( you will find out why when you read the book.) It explains everything happening outside AND inside your body. Warning: part of this book is where you write down things you learned and stuff like that. So if you buy this book on your kindle, you can` t do the writing part, unless you want to write all over your kindle! :) I would totally recommend this book to any girl that is going through pueberty. Reading this book helped me to feel normal and be completely ready for everything that would happen in the tween years!! This book was an amazing book so I hope you get it!

I was looking for a Biblical based book that helped explain how a girl's body changes before and during puberty. My daughter is 10 and we've been reading it together at night before bed. She actually asks for this book opposed to a wide array of books we read. She is very curious about what's happening to her and this author brings the information to her in a way she can relate to and in a style that speaks to young girls. God is very much a driving force by print and inspiration in this book. Thank you
I bought this book for both of my daughters. They really liked the book. I like how it is laid out and on their level. Meaning they didn't find anything they read embarrassing or were uncomfortable with anything we discussed from the book.
This book is a good book for middle school girls, that are either about to start or have started their monthly cycle.
Best book for moms and daughters. This book makes becoming a woman seem cool and natural. Great way to prepare young girls for this major season and transition in their lives!
