This map is worthless you can get a trail map off line for free with the same info on it.
Nice map and does what it's supposed to do. However, it doesn't use a standard scale so you can't us a military style protractor to locate specific coordinates. I'm sure most people don't care, but a few will.
As expected and described. Detailed, helpful for hiking, hunting or anything where you need a good strong map to find specific sites.
Nat Geo's maps are absolutely essential to exploring the natural landscapes and this one does not disappoint. What is great is that it is printed on nice water-resistant paper so it will last long.
This is a fantastic and essential map if you are planning on visiting the southern section of the Park. Offers some secret 4 wheel drive entrances into the Stronghold District that would otherwise not be known to travelers.
Do not go backcountry (I'd say anywhere, but definitely not at the Badlands!) without one of these maps. You will likely be sorry (or deceased) if you do!
Regretted buying this. Provided no added value over free NPS guides and maps.
There are no better exploration/hiking maps then National Geo's. My collection of these maps is getting large.
